How to Host the Perfect Easter Brunch at Home for 2022

Easter 2022 is quickly approaching, and it’s time to get a head start on plans for the day. If you’re hosting Easter brunch at your home this year, we’re here with tips and tricks to make this holiday the best one yet. From delicious recipes, to décor inspiration, you’ll be all set to host a perfect Easter brunch for friends and family.

When is Easter this year?

Falling on the first Sunday after the Paschal Full Moon, which is the first full moon following the vernal equinox, Easter 2022 will be celebrated on April 17th. Although the holiday falls quite late in 2022, you’ll have more time to plan and perfect your Easter activities.

Planning an Easter Brunch Menu

Pancake & Waffle Bar

Who doesn’t love pancakes and waffles? Perfect for a hungry crowd, a pancake and waffle bar is an excellent choice for a large group of guests. Simply choose your favorite recipes for pancakes and waffles, and fill your table with toppings like maple syrup, chocolate chips, chocolate sauce, fresh fruit, and more. Each guest can enjoy a stack of warm pancakes or waffles with custom toppings. Not to mention, this is a great option if you invited a lot of kids!

Make-Your-Own Bagel Bar

Bagels are all the rage, so why not create a make-your-own bagel bar? Simply slice a variety of bagel flavors and fill a table with toppings like smoked salmon, sliced avocado, cream cheese, and more. And don’t forget a toaster!

Create a Signature Easter Cocktail

Once you’ve finalized your brunch menu, consider creating a signature cocktail for your celebration. This drink is refreshing, delicious, and perfect for photos. Try the orange champagne mule below- it's one of our favorite brunch cocktail recipes!

Orange Champagne Mule

What You’ll Need:

- ½ cup of orange juice (we suggest blood orange)

- ½ cup of lime juice

- 8 ounces vodka

- 8 ounces of ginger beer

- 1 bottle champagne

- Mint leaves

Add your juices and vodka to a pitcher, stir until combined, and place in the refrigerator until it’s time to enjoy. Once your guests have arrived, add ice to your mixture and add your champagne and ginger beer. Top with mint leaves.

How to Decorate for Easter

Along with a signature menu and delicious drinks, you’ll want to add a few decorative elements to your home. If you’re looking for inspiration, we’re here with a few of our favorite Easter décor ideas.

Outdoor Inflatables for Easter

You can’t go wrong with outdoor inflatables! If you’re hosting an outdoor Easter brunch, these inflatables are a fun and unique way to add some excitement to your yard. Choose from our large assortment of air-blown inflatables and give your friends and family a warm Easter welcome.

Creating an Easter Centerpiece

If you’re a fan of florals, consider adding a centerpiece to your dining table. Whether you’d prefer several small arrangements or one large, traditional Easter centerpiece, flowers are an easy and beautiful way to spice up your brunch experience.

In order to truly capture the holiday, consider choosing a pastel color palette with pinks, purples, and yellows. For a rustic look, we recommend arranging your flowers in mason jars!
